Job summary

HEROSS Sdn. Bhd. is seeking a Quantity Surveyor to prepare BOQs and cost estimates for ACMV/HVAC projects. You will take-off quantities from drawings, assist with tendering, and track costs with site teams to ensure budget adherence.

Requirements include a Diploma/Degree in Quantity Surveying or related field, at least 2 years of QS experience in ACMV or M&E contracting, and proficiency in AutoCAD, Excel, and QS software. Strong analytical and communication skills are essential.

Qualifications

Diploma or Degree in Quantity Surveying, Mechanical Engineering, or related field.
Minimum 2 years of experience in quantity surveying, preferably in ACMV or M&E contracting.
Knowledge of HVAC systems, materials, and installation methods.
Proficient in AutoCAD, Microsoft Excel, and QS software/tools.
Good analytical, organizational, and communication skills.

Responsibilities

Prepare and manage Bills of Quantities (BOQs) and cost estimates for ACMV systems.
Conduct quantity take-offs from HVAC drawings (ducting, piping, equipment, etc.).
Assist with tender submissions, material take-off, and pricing.
Coordinate with site/project teams for quantity tracking and cost control.
Manage budget monitoring, progress claims, variations, and final accounts.
Evaluate and process subcontractor quotations and claims.
Attend project and site meetings as needed.
