Job summary

United Straits M & E Sdn Bhd is seeking a skilled HVAC Technician to install, inspect, maintain, troubleshoot, and repair HVAC systems for commercial buildings. You will work on AHU, FCU, split units, cooling towers, pumps and control systems, conducting preventive maintenance and emergency repairs as needed.

The ideal candidate has a Diploma and 2-3 years of relevant experience, can work independently with minimal supervision, and communicates in Bahasa Malaysia and English.

Responsibilities

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Heating, Ventilation, and Air Conditioning (HVAC) Technician to join our dynamic team. In this role, you will be responsible for installing, inspecting, maintaining, troubleshooting, and repairing heating, ventilation, and air conditioning (HVAC) systems. The role ensures all equipment operates safely, efficiently, and in accordance with company standards while delivering quality service to customers.

Responsibilities:

Installing, maintaining and repairing ventilation and air conditioning systems and equipment.

Carry out monthly preventive maintenance for the ventilation and air-conditioning system such as the AHU, FCU split unit cooling towers, pumps and control system, including cleaning and repair of the systems.

Diagnosing electrical and mechanical faults for HVAC systems.

Cleaning, adjusting and repairing systems, and performing warranty services.

Keeping daily logs and records of all maintenance functions.

Complying with service standards, work instructions and customers' requirements.

Perform emergency repairs promptly and efficiently.

Perform other related duties and activities as required from time to time.

Requirement:

Candidate must possess at least Diploma

2-3 years related working experience is required for this position.

Able to work independently with minimum supervision, self-motivated and a good team player.

Technical experience with knowledge in air-conditioning, chiller, ACMV or HVAC systems would be advantageous.

Able to communicate in Bahasa Malaysia and English.
