Job summary

Howdy Master Sdn Bhd in Kuala Lumpur is seeking an HVAC/M&E engineer to support planning, design and implementation of building systems. The role focuses on delivering compliant engineering drawings and comprehensive technical documentation for projects.

You will coordinate with contractors and internal teams, ensure adherence to Malaysian standards, and assist in site supervision and construction management. Proficiency in AutoCAD and a valid engineering licence is required.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s or Diploma in mechanical/HVAC engineering with relevant experience.
• Experience in HVAC system design, M&E engineering, project coordination or construction management.
• Strong technical knowledge and ability to work with cross-functional teams.

Job description

Support the planning, design and implementation of HVAC and Mechanical & Electrical (M&E) engineering systems.

Prepare and review HVAC engineering drawings, technical specifications and project documentation.

Assist in project contracting, coordination, site supervision and construction management.

Ensure all engineering works comply with Malaysian local regulations, applicable design standards, safety requirements and construction specifications.

Use AutoCAD and other relevant engineering software to prepare and modify technical drawings and designs.

Coordinate with contractors, consultants, suppliers and internal project teams to ensure projects are completed according to schedule and requirements.

Conduct site inspections, monitor project progress and assist in resolving technical issues.

Job Requirements

Bachelor's Degree or Diploma in Mechanical Engineering, HVAC Engineering or a related field.

Relevant experience in HVAC system design, M&E engineering, project coordination or construction management.

Must possess a valid and relevant professional engineering certification/licence recognised in Malaysia.

Proficient in AutoCAD and other relevant engineering design software.

Good knowledge of Malaysian engineering standards, building regulations and construction requirements.

Strong technical knowledge, problem-solving skills and project coordination abilities.

Responsible, independent and able to work effectively with cross-functional teams.

Possess a valid driving licence is an added advantage.
