Job summary

HYRED is seeking an experienced HR leader to drive operations, recruitment, payroll and employee lifecycle management across our brand experience and product solutions group in Kuala Lumpur.

You will partner with managers to streamline HR workflows, implement performance cycles and develop compensation frameworks, while maintaining confidential data and compliant processes across the organisation.

Qualifications

• Minimum 5 years of HR experience with strong exposure across HR operations.
• Experience managing HR independently in a standalone or lean HR environment.
• Strong knowledge across HR operations, recruitment, payroll coordination, employee lifecycle management, HR reporting and performance management.
• Experience with HR systems such as SQL HRMS, HRIS platforms or similar systems.
• Advertising, Marketing or Corporate Gifting industries experience is highly preferred.

• Plan and coordinate employee engagement initiatives and internal events.

Key Responsibilities

HR Operations & Employee Lifecycle

• Manage the full spectrum of HR operations, including employee onboarding, employee movements and offboarding.
• Maintain accurate employee records, documentation and HR databases.
• Manage day-to-day HR activities and ensure smooth execution of HR processes.
• Review and improve HR workflows to support business growth.

Talent Acquisition & Workforce Planning

• Lead end-to-end recruitment activities across the organisation.
• Partner with hiring managers to understand manpower requirements.
• Develop sourcing strategies and maintain talent pipelines.
• Manage candidate screening, interviews and hiring processes.
• Support workforce planning and headcount requirements.

Payroll & HR Administration

• Prepare monthly payroll reports and payroll-related information.
• Coordinate with finance partners for payroll processing.
• Manage payroll inputs including:
• salary changes;
• claims;
• increments;
• employee movement updates.
• Ensure HR information is accurate and handled confidentially.

Performance Management & Employee Development

• Support performance management processes and KPI frameworks.
• Coordinate performance review cycles.
• Support managers in employee development discussions.
• Identify training and development opportunities.

Compensation & Benefits Support

• Support salary benchmarking and market research.
• Provide recommendations on:
• salary reviews;
• incentives;
• commission structures;
• bonus frameworks;
• employee rewards.
• Coordinate with external partners where required.

Employee Engagement & Culture

• Plan and coordinate employee engagement initiatives.
• Organise internal events including quarterly and annual company activities.
• Support initiatives that improve employee experience and retention.

HR Systems & Process Improvement

• Manage and improve HR systems and platforms.
• Support HR technology improvements and process automation.
• Maintain and improve HR documentation, policies and procedures.

Training & HR Initiatives

• Coordinate internal training initiatives and development programmes.
• Support applications for relevant HR grants and development programmes.
• Drive HR projects and initiatives as required.
