SCC Group Of Companies is seeking an HR Leader to manage end-to-end recruitment, employee relations, and lifecycle processes across the organisation in Kuantan, Malaysia. You will partner with management to understand manpower needs and drive sourcing strategies and timely hiring.

You’ll oversee onboarding, probation, training initiatives, HR policy compliance, and HR systems improvements while maintaining accurate records and providing trusted advisory support to managers and staff.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in HR, business, or related field.
  • 3–5 years HR experience, with recruitment, ER, training, and operations.
  • Solid understanding of HR practices and employment laws.
  • Excellent interpersonal and stakeholder management skills.
  • Strong English and Bahasa Malaysia; Mandarin is a plus.

Responsabilités

Description du poste

  • Lead and manage the end-to-end recruitment process for executive, managerial, and operational positions.
  • Work closely with management and department heads to understand manpower requirements and recruitment priorities.
  • Develop effective sourcing strategies to attract suitable candidates through various recruitment channels.
  • Conduct candidate screening, interviews, assessments, and selection recommendations.
  • Coordinate interview and selection processes with hiring managers and management.
  • Prepare and manage employment offers and related recruitment documentation.
  • Monitor recruitment progress, hiring timelines, and manpower requirements.
  • Maintain an active talent pipeline for current and future hiring needs.
Employee Relations & HR Advisory
  • Provide HR advice and support to management and employees on employee relations and workplace matters.
  • Handle employee grievances, disciplinary matters, show cause letters, warning letters, performance concerns, and other employee relations cases.
  • Ensure proper documentation, investigation, follow-up, and resolution of employee relations matters.
  • Advise managers on the appropriate application of HR policies and procedures.
  • Support management in maintaining a fair, consistent, and professional working environment.
Employee Lifecycle Management
  • Oversee key employee lifecycle processes, including onboarding, orientation, probation, confirmation, extension, transfer, resignation, and exit.
  • Ensure proper documentation and timely completion of HR processes.
  • Coordinate exit interviews and review employee feedback to identify potential areas for improvement.
  • Ensure employee records and HR documentation are accurate and properly maintained.
Training & Development
  • Identify training and development needs in collaboration with management and department heads.
  • Plan, coordinate, and monitor internal and external training programmes.
  • Manage HRDC-related matters, including grant applications, claims, supporting documentation, and compliance requirements.
  • Maintain training records and monitor employee participation and development.
  • Support initiatives to improve employee capability and organisational effectiveness.
HR Policy, Process & Compliance
  • Review and improve HR policies, procedures, forms, and processes to support business requirements.
  • Ensure HR practices are aligned with applicable employment legislation and company policies.
  • Monitor changes in employment-related requirements and advise management on relevant HR implications.
  • Recommend improvements to HR processes to enhance efficiency and consistency.
HR Operations & Systems
  • Oversee day-to-day HR operations and ensure HR processes are carried out accurately and efficiently.
  • Support the implementation and continuous improvement of HR systems and processes.
  • Ensure HR data and employee records are accurate, updated, and properly maintained.
  • Prepare HR reports, analysis, and workforce information for management review.
HR Projects & Organisational Initiatives
  • Lead or participate in HR projects and initiatives assigned by management.
  • Support organisational changes, manpower restructuring, and other people-related initiatives.
  • Analyse HR data and provide insights to support management decision-making.
  • Identify opportunities for process improvement and recommend practical HR solutions.
  • Support the development and implementation of initiatives that improve employee engagement and retention.
Stakeholder Management
  • Work closely with management and department heads to understand business and people requirements.
  • Provide timely HR support and recommendations to internal stakeholders.
  • Build effective working relationships with employees, managers, external service providers, and training providers.
  • Handle sensitive and confidential HR matters with professionalism and discretion.
Key Responsibilities

Requirements
  • Bachelor's Degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, Management, or a related discipline.
  • Minimum 3 - 5 years of relevant HR experience, preferably with experience in recruitment, employee relations, training, and HR operations.
  • Strong knowledge of HR practices, employment legislation, and HR processes.
  • Strong interpersonal, communication, and stakeholder management skills.
  • Good analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making abilities.
  • Strong organisational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities and deadlines.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office applications and HR systems.
  • Able to work independently with minimal supervision and demonstrate a high level of initiative.
  • Mature, professional, and able to handle confidential and sensitive HR matters.
  • Good command of English and Bahasa Malaysia. Mandarin would be an added advantage.
