Job summary

Kemikon Sdn. Bhd. is seeking an experienced Human Resources Manager to create, maintain and enforce comprehensive HR policies and ensure compliance with government and employment law across the organization.

You will lead disciplinary and grievance handling, drive employee satisfaction, oversee recruitment and retention, design competitive compensation programs, and mentor managers in performance appraisal and development initiatives.

Qualifications

• Degree in Human Resource Management, Business Administration or equivalent.
• Minimum 5+ years working experience in HR.
• Ability to build rapport quickly with department managers and stakeholders and interact with people at all levels.
• Experience of dealing with senior and sometimes challenging individuals.
• Strong understanding of employment law.
• Fluent in English and Bahasa (spoken/written).
• Superb communication skills honed in business partnering / advisory roles.

Responsibilities

• Create, maintain and update comprehensive HR policies and procedures compliant with government and employment law and communicate to all staff and ensure compliance.
• Handle complex disciplinary/grievance and HR issues with appropriate decisions.
• Measure employee satisfaction and drive improvements for a harmonious work culture.
• Oversee recruitment and retention activities and manage talent and succession planning.
• Analyze wage and salary reports and develop a competitive compensation program aligned with objectives.
• Train managers on appraisal systems and coach employees; address grievances as needed.
• Lead Learning, Training and Development initiatives and guide development for managers and their teams.
• Develop and continuously update internal HR processes, documents and templates.

Job description

Create, maintain and update comprehensive Human Resources policies and procedures that comply with government and employment law and ensure such policies and procedures are communicated to all staff and are being followed.

Deal with complex disciplinary/grievance and HR issues, using HR and company knowledge evidencing appropriate decision.

Measure employee satisfaction and identify areas that require improvement to ensure harmonisation and good work culture in the Company.

Recruitment & retention taking overall responsibility for recruitment activity and campaigns and managing talent and succession planning program.

Analyze wage and salary reports ,create a comprehensive and competitive compensation program that is industry specific and aligns with organizational objectives.

Train managers on appraisal system and coach employees accordingly. Resolve grievances regarding employee appraisals, provide counseling to employees and supervisors as needed and appropriate.

Implement the Learning,Training and Development agenda and provide guidence on development for managers and their team and identify areas that need attention and improvement.

Develop and continuously update internal HR department processes ,documents and templates.

Requirement

Degree in Human Resource Management , Business Administration or equivalent.

Minimum 5+ years working experience in increasingly role in Human Resources.
