Job summary

Jebsen & Jessen Packaging Sdn Bhd is seeking a capable Human Resource Executive/Senior Executive to lead end-to-end HR operations for our manufacturing plant in Malaysia. You will partner with Plant Management and HODs on manpower planning, recruitment, and workforce requirements, while strengthening employee engagement and workplace culture.

You will oversee employee relations, payroll processing, and foreign worker administration, including permits and housing.

Responsibilities

• Lead and manage end-to-end HR operations for the manufacturing plant.
• Partner with Plant Management and HODs on manpower planning, recruitment and workforce requirements.
• Lead employee engagement and communication initiatives to strengthen employee experience and workplace culture.
• Manage employee relations, grievances, counselling, disciplinary matters and workplace investigations.
• Coordinate and drive training, competency development and performance management activities.
• Manage monthly payroll processing, ensuring accurate and timely preparation and submission of payroll inputs.
• Manage end-to-end foreign worker administration and accommodation, including work permits, renewals, home leave, repatriation and hostel
• Lead HR projects and continuous improvement / HR digitalization initiatives to enhance HR effectiveness and employee experience.
