We are looking for an experienced and hands‑on HR & Admin Manager to lead the full spectrum of Human Resources and Administration functions for our food manufacturing operations.
The successful candidate will be responsible for developing and implementing effective HR strategies, managing employee relations, ensuring statutory and regulatory compliance, and providing strong administrative support to the factory and business operations.
Experience in food manufacturing, FMCG, factory operations, or other manufacturing environments will be highly advantageous.
Human Resources Management
Manage the full spectrum of HR functions including recruitment, onboarding, employee relations, performance management, training, compensation & benefits, and staff development.
Develop, review and implement HR policies, procedures, SOPs and employee handbooks.
Manage manpower planning, recruitment and retention strategies to support business and production requirements.
Oversee payroll processing and ensure timely and accurate payment of salaries and statutory contributions.
Ensure compliance with EPF, SOCSO, EIS, HRD Corp, Employment Act and other applicable Malaysian labour laws and regulations.
Handle disciplinary matters, grievances, misconduct investigations and employee counselling in accordance with company policies and employment legislation.
Develop and monitor KPI, performance appraisal and employee engagement initiatives.
Manage foreign worker matters including permits, documentation, accommodation and related compliance requirements.
Factory / Manufacturing HR
Provide HR support to production, warehouse, QA/QC, engineering, maintenance and other operational departments.
Support manpower planning according to production schedules and operational requirements.
Ensure compliance with factory rules, attendance, working hours, shift arrangements and employee welfare.
Manage employee accommodation, welfare, transport and other factory-related administrative matters.
Work closely with Management and Department Heads to resolve workforce and operational issues.
Administration
Lead and manage the HR & Admin team and ensure effective delivery of daily HR and administrative services.
Oversee general administration, office facilities, company assets, insurance, licenses, permits and vendor management.
Coordinate company events, staff activities, employee welfare programmes and internal communications.
Maintain proper HR records, personnel files and confidential employee information.
Support Management in ad-hoc projects, business initiatives and organisational development.
Compliance & Employee Relations
Ensure HR practices comply with Malaysian employment legislation and regulatory requirements.
Liaise with relevant government agencies and external parties such as JTK, KWSP, PERKESO, EIS, HRD Corp and Immigration Department when required.
Support audits, inspections and certification requirements relevant to the company's operations.
Promote a positive, disciplined and productive workplace culture.
Minimum Diploma or Bachelor's Degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, Management or a related field.
Minimum 3–5 years of relevant HR experience, preferably with at least 2–3 years in a managerial or supervisory position.
Experience in Food Manufacturing / FMCG / Manufacturing is strongly preferred.
Strong knowledge of Malaysian employment laws, HR practices and statutory requirements.
Experience managing both office and factory/production employees.
Strong knowledge of payroll, recruitment, employee relations, industrial relations and performance management.
Experience handling foreign workers and factory manpower is an advantage.
Good leadership, communication, negotiation and problem-solving skills.
Hands‑on, proactive and able to work independently with minimal supervision.
Proficient in Microsoft Office and HR/payroll systems.
