Job summary

SOTC Play & Development Sdn Bhd is seeking a proactive Human Resource Executive to join our Senawang, Negeri Sembilan office on a full-time basis. You will manage HR activities across the organisation, shaping policies, supporting employee relations, and ensuring compliant people management practices.

The role covers recruitment, onboarding, training, record-keeping, and performance processes with emphasis on confidentiality, data protection, and collaboration.

Qualifications

• 2-3 years' experience in a generalist HR role in Malaysia.
• Strong knowledge of Malaysian employment laws and compliance.
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills; professional demeanor.
• Proficiency with HRIS and MS Office.

Responsibilities

• Manage the full employee lifecycle, including recruitment, onboarding, training and development, and offboarding.
• Support the development and implementation of human resources policies and procedures in line with Malaysian employment legislation.
• Provide guidance and support to managers and employees on HR-related matters, ensuring consistent application of policies.
• Maintain accurate and up-to-date employee records and HR documentation in compliance with data protection regulations.
• Coordinate and facilitate employee training and development programmes to support career growth and skill enhancement.
• Assist in managing employee relations matters, including grievances, disciplinary procedures, and conflict resolution.
• Contribute to the development of compensation and benefits strategies that attract and retain talent.
• Support performance management processes and appraisal systems.
• Liaise with external HR service providers, legal advisors, and government agencies as required.
• Contribute to HR planning and workforce forecasting to support business objectives.

About the role

We are seeking a Human Resource Executive to join our team at our Senawang, Negeri Sembilan office on a full-time basis. In this pivotal role, you will be responsible for providing comprehensive human resources support across our organisation. As a Human Resource Executive, you will play a key strategic role in developing and implementing HR policies, managing employee relations, and supporting the overall people management objectives of SOTC Play & Development Sdn Bhd. This position is essential to ensuring that our workforce remains engaged, motivated, and aligned with company values.

Key responsibilities

Manage the full employee lifecycle, including recruitment, onboarding, training and development, and offboarding

Support the development and implementation of human resources policies and procedures in line with Malaysian employment legislation

What we're looking for

A minimum of 2-3 years' experience in a human resources role, ideally in a generalist or consulting HR capacity

Strong knowledge of Malaysian employment laws, regulations, and compliance requirements

Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to interact professionally with all levels of the organisation

Proficiency in human resources information systems (HRIS) and Microsoft Office applications

Demonstrated ability to manage multiple projects and priorities simultaneously whilst maintaining attention to detail

Strong organisational skills and the ability to work independently and as part of a team

Discretion and professionalism in handling sensitive and confidential information

Problem-solving abilities and a proactive approach to identifying HR challenges and solutions

Preferably, a professional HR qualification such as CHRP, CIPD, or equivalent certification

Experience in training and development programme coordination would be advantageous
