Job summary

PERSOL Workforce Solutions Malaysia Sdn Bhd is seeking an experienced HSE professional to oversee site safety in Johor Bahru. You will monitor HSE plans, lead toolbox meetings, prepare site HSE documents, conduct inspections and train workers to ensure ISO 45001/14001 compliance.

Candidates with at least 3 years of HSE project-site experience, SHO certification, and first-aider/fire-fighting training are preferred. You will report to the Site Manager and be stationed in Johor Bahru.

Qualifications

• Certified SHO by DOSH
• Attended 1st Aider training
• Attended Basic Fire Fighting training
• At least 3 years' HSE experience on project sites (data center, construction or energy/electrical)
• Expertise in lifting operations, working at elevated locations, electrical, civil work & confined space
• Familiar with ISO 45001 & 14001 standards & site implementation
• Able to communicate and train workers in HSE implementation
• Strong leadership to manage subcontractors at site
• Proficient with MS Office (Office, SharePoint, MS-List, Access) and able to read/write English reports
• Willing to work and be stationed at Johor Bahru

Responsibilities

• Monitor and ensure HSE plan and procedures are implemented on site
• Organize daily toolbox meetings and ensure POWRA/ST-5 by team leaders
• Prepare site HSE documents (Emergency Plan, Induction, forms) and audit follow-up
• Conduct daily HSE inspections of work areas, tools, equipment and PPE
• Review MySafety Focus reports and advise improvements
• Raise HSE challenges to higher management when unresolved
• Plan and organise weekly safety meetings with subcontractors and customers
• Verify PTW preparation by subcontractors before approval
• Support client inspections and audits
• Prepare HSE project reports (daily/weekly/monthly)
• Deliver HSE training and induction
• Investigate near-miss and minor incidents

Job description

Monitoring and ensure HSE Plan & procedures and plans implementations on site.

Organize daily Tool Box Meeting & ensure POWRA/ST-5 conducted by each team leader

Prepare Site HSE Document (Emergency Plan, Induction, forms, Site environment procedures, minutes of meetings, inspection/audit follow up)

Conduct daily site HSE inspection to work area, tools, equipment & PPE

Review daily MySafety Focus report from SM and advice any improvements related to HSE

Raise site HSE challenges to higher management if the issue can not be resolved on site level

Plan & Organize weekly safety meeting with subcontractor and customer

Ensure all Hazard are identified and reported by all site team

Support Site Manager (SM) to review& verify Work methods, Risk Assessment and Permit to work by subcontractor

Verify the preparation of PTW by subcontractror on site before PTW approval

Support SM for client inspection & audit

Prepare HSE Project daily, weekly & monthly report (HSE Statistics, HSE KPI performances)

Deliver Site HSE training & induction

Verify that all inspection checklist for all tools, equipment and vehicle are properly conducted by related workers

Support SM to conduct investigation of near miss and minor incident

Qualification:

Certified SHO by DOSH

Has attend 1st Aider training

At least 3 year experience as HSE in Project Sites, preferred in data center, construction or energy/electrical sector.

Expertise in applying best practice HSE in following skills: Lifting Operations, Working at Elevated Locations, Electrical, Civil work & Confined space

Able to communicate effectively and deliver training to all worker level for HSE implementation

Strong leadership to manage subcontractor at site

Familiar with MS Office applications (Office, SharePoint, MS-List, ACC) & able to read & write reports in English

Eligible and willing to work and stationed at Johor Bahru
