Job summary

Unisteel Technology (M) Sdn Bhd in Malaysia seeks an experienced HRBP leader to connect business priorities with workforce outcomes, delivering ER/IR governance, workforce planning and manager capability across UTM.

The role drives organisation development, job architecture, change management and recruitment, learning and workforce initiatives under the new HR operating model, while leading ER/IR cases and translating business issues into people actions.

Qualifications

• 8-10 years of relevant experience including 3 years in HRBP/ER leadership.
• Strong manufacturing HRBP, ER/IR, workforce planning and performance management capability.
• Practical organisation design, manager coaching and change-management experience.
• Able to translate business issues into people, organisation and productivity actions.

Build a business-facing HRBP model that connects business priorities with workforce, organisation, capability and employee-relations outcomes.

Lead ER/IR governance, workforce planning, performance discipline and manager capability across UTM.

Drive organization development covering structure, role clarity, workforce effectiveness, job architecture and change.

Lead talent recruitment, learning and workforce initiatives under the new HR operating model.

Business Partnering & Employee Relations

Partner plant/function leaders on business plans, workforce needs, organisation issues, capability gaps and people priorities.

Lead complex ER/IR, discipline, grievance, investigation and performance cases with consistent governance.

Use workforce data to identify attrition, attendance, capability and productivity risks and drive actions with managers.

Lead organisation reviews covering structure, spans/layers, role clarity, decision rights, workforce productivity, and critical capability gaps.

Sponsor workforce planning, position governance, job architecture/grading support and organisation change with the OD Senior Executive.

Build manager capability to operate the new HRBP, performance and organisation model.

Talent, Performance & Capability

Lead performance management, talent review, succession, recruitment priorities and development actions.

Oversee practical learning/capability priorities tied to business and organisation needs.

Lead the HRBP/ER/Talent & Organisation team and ensure clear ownership across Recruitment, OD Foreign Workforce and Office Administration.

Lead change management and adoption of new HR processes, Workday-enabled ways of working and professional HR standards.

Requirements:

Degree in Human Resources, Business, Psychology or related discipline.

8-10 years of relevant experience including 3 years in HRBP/ER leadership.

Strong manufacturing HRBP, ER/IR, workforce planning and performance management capability.

Practical organisation design, manager coaching and change-management experience.

Able to translate business issues into people, organisation and productivity actions.
