Job summary

SAM Malaysia is seeking an experienced HR Business Partner Manager to align HR strategies with manufacturing operations. You will partner with production and functional leaders to manage manpower planning, ER/IR case handling, and workforce stability in a fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree in HR, Business, or related field with 5-8 years HR experience in manufacturing.
• Strong hands-on ER/IR experience and knowledge of Malaysian labour law.
• Excellent stakeholder management, communication, and problem-solving skills with a hands-on approach.

Responsibilities

• Partner with Production and functional leaders to align HR strategies with business and operational needs.
• Support manpower planning, workforce stability, and organizational effectiveness in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.
• Manage employee and industrial relations matters including disciplinary cases, grievances, and domestic inquiries.
• Ensure compliance with Malaysian labor laws and internal HR policies and procedures.
• Drive performance management processes, including appraisal cycles and talent development initiatives.
• Support succession planning and collaborate with L&D on capability building programs.
• Work closely with Talent Acquisition to fulfill hiring needs for critical roles.
• Provide insights on hiring challenges and workforce trends, especially for technical positions.
• Lead employee engagement initiatives and maintain effective communication between management and employees.
• Ensure HR documentation, reporting, and audit readiness are properly maintained.
