Job summary

Pivotal Systems (Malaysia) Sdn Bhd is seeking an HR Specialist to drive training and employee relations initiatives. You will plan, conduct, and coordinate training programs, manage records and competency matrices, and handle employee relations matters with a focus on compliance and continuous improvement.

The role requires 3–5 years of HR experience, preferably in manufacturing, and a Diploma or Degree in HR or related field. English and Bahasa Malaysia are essential, Mandarin is a plus.

Qualifications

• Diploma or degree in HR, business admin, or related field.
• 3–5 years HR experience, preferably in manufacturing.
• Experience in Training & Development and Employee Relations.
• Knowledge of Malaysian employment practices and HRD Corp/HRDF.

Responsibilities

• Plan and coordinate employee training and development programs.
• Conduct training needs analysis and maintain the annual training plan.
• Coordinate new hire orientation and mandatory trainings (technical, safety, quality, compliance).
• Maintain training records, competency matrices, and HRDF claims.
• Support employee relations, grievance handling, counselling and disciplinary matters.
• Assist with probation, confirmation and performance management processes.
• Coordinate Performance Improvement Plans (PIP) and monitor progress.
• Support employee engagement and retention initiatives.
• Maintain HR documentation and support ISO 9001 HR requirements and audits.
• Ensure compliance with company policies and Malaysian employment requirements.
