Private Advertiser is seeking an HR Specialist to support the Head of HR across compensation, HRIS, headcount reporting, and policy compliance. The role includes designing pay structures, participating in benchmarking, and administering payroll and benefits.
The ideal candidate has 5+ years in HR and proven payroll management experience, with openness to diverse industries. Heavy machinery or industrial automation backgrounds are a plus.
This role supports the Head of HR across compensation, human resources information systems, headcount reporting, policies and procedures, and audit and compliance functions.
Key responsibilities
Support Head of HR in designing and maintaining the company's pay structure, salary grades and salary ranges
Participate in salary surveys and benchmarking to maintain an understanding of industry compensation trends
Support Head of HR in designing and administering performance-based incentive and bonus program
Review and administer health insurance benefits and employee wellness program to ensure employer competitiveness in the market
Communicate compensation and rewards policies, practices and changes to employees
Administer and improvise annual salary review exercise
Execute monthly payroll process with accuracy and timeliness
Year-end review on employee income tax statement
Maintain employee master database and employee movement report
Organisation chart maintenance
Contact point for monthly headcount report submission to headquarter
Review HR policies and propose improvisation
Upkeep employee handbook to reflect the most recent/ revised employee benefits
Communicate and educate the organization’s HR policies to employees
Maintain accurate compensation and rewards data and compliance to tax requirement
Participate in external audit on payroll processes
Contact point for headquarter and local compliance lead on HR policies alignment to local regulation and headquarter practice
What we are looking for
More than 5 years of experience in HR related areas or as an HR Generalist
Proven experience in payroll management is a must
Open to candidates from all industries. Background in heavy machinery, automotive or industrial automation is an added advantage
