Hapag-Lloyd Business Services (Malaysia) Sdn. Bhd. seeks a skilled Compensation & Benefits specialist to support payroll processing, benefits administration, and HR systems maintenance. You will manage employee data, assist with mobility processes, and contribute to analytics and reporting for a regional team.
The role covers cross-border transfers, insurance management, and collaboration with HR partners. A degree in HR/BA and at least 3 years in C&B is expected.
The role is essential to ensuring the smooth operation of compensation & benefits function, such as payroll administration, maintenance of HR systems, mobility management, insurance administration and other crucial compensation & benefits related matters.
Payroll Administration:
Assist in monthly payroll and statutory payments and all related reports.
Assist in year-end tax related reports
Liaise with BIPO on payroll/tax matters
Company Benefits Administration:
Support the administrations of employee medical insurance coverage, i.e registration of new employee, follow up on claim submission and all the pending medical claims cases.
HR Administrative Duties:
Maintain employee records and update HR systems with new information, promotions, transfers, and other changes.
Provide administrative support to the HR team as needed, such as organizing meetings, preparing reports, and managing HR communications.
Assist with other HR projects and initiatives
Mobility management:
Assist in supporting employee mobility by handling all aspects of pass applications, cancellations, and renewals.
Assist in arranging temporary accommodation, coordinating flight ticket purchases
HR Analytics:
Data driven mindset, with a keen eye for patterns and trends, double click into HR data, where insight extends. Turning numbers to knowledge, solutions.
Others:
To carry out duties/roles as assigned by superior as and when required
Qualifications and Technical Job Requirements:
Bachelor's degree or diploma in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field.
At least 3 years of experience in Compensation & Benefits, HR Operations, Payroll Administration, or a related HR support function, preferably within a regional or multinational environment.
Hands-on experience in payroll processing, benefits administration, insurance management, HR systems maintenance, and employee data management.
Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite, particularly Excel, and experienced in using HRIS, payroll, and employee management systems.
Experience in managing employee mobility matters, including cross-border transfers, work pass administration, and relocation support, would be an added advantage.
Good knowledge of employment legislation, statutory requirements, and compensation & benefits practices will be an added advantage.
