Job summary

GRIT, a well-established multinational consumer business, seeks an HR Shared Services Lead in Kuala Lumpur to drive efficient HR operations across payroll, onboarding, data management and compliance. You will lead a hands-on team, own payroll accuracy and statutory compliance, standardise processes, enhance HRIS usage and deliver timely HR support to business leaders.

Ideal candidates bring 8+ years in HR, at least 3 years in SR/SS leadership, and a strong track record of process improvement in

Qualifications

• 8+ years in HR with at least 3 years in HR operations or shared services.
• Strong payroll knowledge and HR ops background, with understanding of Malaysian Employment Act.
• Hands-on HRIS experience and a mindset for process improvement.
• Experience supporting a large or multi-site workforce is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Lead the HR shared services team across payroll, HR operations, onboarding/offboarding and employee data management
• Own payroll accuracy, statutory compliance and audit readiness
• Standardise and improve HR processes, SOPs and service levels
• Drive HRIS usage, data integrity and HR reporting
• Partner with HRBPs, Finance and business leaders on smooth, timely HR support
• Identify opportunities for automation and continuous improvement
