Job summary

Danaher is hiring an HR Service Delivery Generalist II in Malaysia to resolve complex HR issues across the employee lifecycle. You will manage regional inquiry flow, identify demand patterns, and drive scalable improvements.

This role builds depth in assigned processes, supports Tier 1 staff, and may lead a service team as needed. Requirements include advanced HR operations expertise, strong analytics, and a Bachelor’s degree (4+ years in HR).

The HR Service Delivery Generalist II resolves complex, nonstandard, and high-risk HR issues across the employee lifecycle, applying advanced judgment to ensure consistent outcomes. In addition to case ownership, this role manages the flow and quality of the regional inquiry queue, identifies patterns in demand, and drives improvements that enable more efficient and scalable HR service delivery. This role also builds subject matter depth in assigned processes or services to support complex issue resolution, guidance to others, and continuous improvement.

In This Role, You Will:

• Resolve complex, escalated, and nonstandard HR cases, applying deep policy, process, and system expertise.
• Flexibly support frontline inquiries and transactions during volume spikes or capacity gaps.
• Serve as an SME for assigned HR services, processes, or programs.
• Lead process improvement, simplification, and standardization efforts, including documentation and knowledge transfer.
• Coach and guide Tier 1 staff on complex scenarios, decision-making, and best practices.
• Support service design and readiness efforts to transition appropriate Tier 2 work to Tier 1 or self-service.
• May act as a functional or service team lead without formal people manager responsibilities.

Essential Requirements

• Advanced HR operations expertise with the ability to independently resolve complex issues.
• Deep proficiency in HR systems, case management, and reporting tools.
• Strong analytical, problem solving, and process improvement capabilities.
• Ability to flex between execution, leadership, and improvement work as needed.
• Bachelor’s degree preferred with 4+ years of experience in HR operations, shared services, or HR specialty areas; additional language skills (e.g., Japanese, Korean, or German) are a plus.
