Job summary

Lee’s Frozen Food Sdn. Bhd. in Kuala Lumpur seeks an HR Executive – Payroll & HR Operations to ensure accurate payroll processing and compliant HR workflows.

You will work with HRIS and finance to streamline payroll, attendance, and statutory reporting, supporting a positive employee experience across SEA. The role requires 2–3 years in payroll and HR ops, with strong knowledge of Malaysian labour laws and experience with HR/payroll software.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in HR, Accounting, Business Administration, or related field.
• 2–3 years of payroll processing and HR operations experience.
• Strong knowledge of Malaysian labour laws, EPF, SOCSO, EIS, and income tax regulations.
• Proficiency in HRIS/payroll software and Microsoft Excel.

Responsibilities

• Payroll Management: Prepare and process monthly payroll accurately and on schedule.
• Validate attendance, overtime, allowances, deductions, and leave records.
• Ensure statutory compliance with EPF, SOCSO, EIS, income tax (PCB), and other government contributions.
• Generate payroll reports and provide salary slips, tax forms, and annual statements.
• Coordinate with Finance for salary disbursement and resolve payroll-related queries.
• HR Operations & Administration: Maintain and update employee records in HRIS and personnel files.
• Prepare employment letters, confirmations, transfer letters, and other HR documents.
• Oversee timekeeping systems, leave management, and attendance monitoring.
• Support recruitment and onboarding when required.
• Compliance & Policy: Ensure HR practices meet Malaysian labour law and statutory requirements.
• Assist in audits and provide required HR/payroll data to regulatory bodies.
• Participate in policy updates and HR process improvements.
• Employee Support & Engagement: Address staff questions on salary, benefits, and HR policies.
• Assist with HR initiatives such as employee engagement programs and performance review cycles.
