Job summary

Keysight Technologies Malaysia Sdn. Bhd. in Penang is seeking a payroll professional for a contract role with potential conversion. You will support payroll tasks across EMEA, ensure compliance with policies, and manage end-to-end monthly payroll.

The ideal candidate has a bachelor’s degree and 2–3 years in HR/payroll, strong Excel skills, and excellent English. You are a team player, detail-oriented, discreet, and able to meet tight deadlines.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in relevant discipline or equivalent experience.
• 2-3 years of payroll operations knowledge or practical experience in HR/Payroll in a multinational environment is preferred.
• Excellent written and spoken English.
• A team player with pleasant personality, good attitude, proactive and the ability to work independently.
• Strong organizational skills and an attention to detail.
• Ability to maintain confidentiality and exercise extreme discretion.
• Strong sense of commitment and urgency to meet tight deadlines.
• Computer literate and knowledgeable on Microsoft Office applications, especially in Excel.

Responsibilities

• Support payroll tasks for EMEA countries.
• Ensuring that payroll activities, processes and results are compliant with company policies and statutory requirement.
• Responsible for the end-to-end processing of monthly payroll to ensure payroll processes are executed appropriately and in a timely manner.
• Review, reconcile and analyse payroll reports to ensure accuracy and completeness.
• Lead investigation and resolution of payroll issues, conducting root cause analysis and implementing corrective and preventive actions.
• Manage payroll vendors to ensure payroll outputs are accurate, compliant, and delivered on schedule.
• Handle and resolve enquiries about pay and statutory related matter.
• Collaborate cross-functionality to achieve high-quality outcomes and deliverables.
• Exploring opportunities to simplify and automate payroll processes to ensure maximum cost-efficiency and effectiveness.
