Job summary

ShopBack is seeking an HR Operations Specialist to run day-to-day HR operations for Malaysia, Germany, the US and Australia. You will monitor automated workflows, audit HRIS data, and collaborate with local HRBPs to support a growing, multinational workforce.

The role covers onboarding/offboarding, payroll checks, benefits enrolment, and regulatory compliance across markets, with KL as a key hub. Strong English communication and time-zone coordination are required.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of progressive HR Operations experience across markets.
• Hands-on payroll experience with external providers.
• Working knowledge of employment law and statutory requirements in at least one market.
• Ability to trace wrong outputs to their source; basic scripting or advanced spreadsheets are a plus.
• Comfortable using AI tools and building automations.

Responsibilities

• Monitor and troubleshoot automated HR workflows across Malaysia, Germany, US and Australia.
• Keep HRIS data accurate; produce monthly reporting.
• Run onboarding and offboarding; coordinate with payroll, benefits and legal providers.
• Check monthly payroll against source data and resolve discrepancies.
• Manage benefits vendors; coordinate renewals and enrollments.
• Maintain audit readiness of employee files, payroll records and leave balances.
• Track regulatory changes with local providers and HRBPs.
• Handle routine requests (employment letters, leave balances, document requests) with established workflows.
