Job summary

TF-AMD Penang is seeking an experienced HR Operations Lead based at Batu Kawan plant to handle day-to-day employee inquiries and drive HR processes. You will ensure data accuracy, confidentiality, and SLA adherence while coordinating with Payroll and HR partners to support smooth operations.

You will manage data, helpdesk queries, and contribute to HR digitalisation and benefits administration. A fast-paced, matrix environment awaits, requiring strong communication in English and Mandarin.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or above in HR management or related field.
• Proficient in Mandarin and English; Mandarin required.
• 4–6 years of experience in HR operations.
• Strong knowledge of HR policies, SOPs, and systems.
• Good understanding of local labor laws and compliance.
• Strong Excel skills with VBA, Power BI and macros preferred.
• Self-starter with strong customer service and relationship-building skills.
• Experience in fast-paced global/matrix environments.
• Experience partnering with managers across departments.
• Strong analytical, presentation, problem solving, and PM skills.
• Excellent time management and multi-tasking.
• Experience in employee data management with confidentiality.
• Must maintain security and confidentiality practices.

Responsibilities

• Act as first point of contact for HR operations at Batu Kawan plant and resolve issues.
• Provide operational support for employee data management, status changes, transfers, promotions, and terminations.
• Manage HR Helpdesk and respond to queries related to HR operations, compensation, benefits, policies, and processes.
• Ensure queries are handled within agreed service levels.
• Maintain accurate employee records and HR data in HR systems.
• Ensure documentation and confidentiality.
• Collaborate with Payroll, HR Business Partners and other stakeholders.
• Assist in report generation and analysis.
• Support administration, review, and maintenance of compensation and benefits.
• Contribute to HR digitalisation and continuous improvement of Helpdesk and C&B operations.
• Identify workflow gaps and participate in HR process transitions and digital transformations.
• Other duties assigned by supervisor.
