Job summary

Adecco's client, a global commodities warehousing and logistics organisation, seeks an experienced HR Manager to oversee the full spectrum of HR operations in Malaysia. The role acts as a strategic HR business partner to management, driving HR initiatives while ensuring compliance with local employment regulations.

Key duties include talent acquisition, onboarding, employee relations, performance management, compensation and benefits, payroll and learning & development.

Qualifications

• Degree in HR, business admin or related discipline.
• Minimum 10 years of relevant HR experience in MNC or regional org.
• Strong knowledge of Malaysian employment laws and statutory requirements.
• Experience with Oracle HCM or similar HRIS.

Responsibilities

• Oversee full spectrum of HR functions including talent acquisition, onboarding, employee relations, performance management, and payroll.
• Develop and implement HR strategies aligned with business objectives and advise management on workforce planning.
• Manage employee relations, grievances, disciplinaries and performance improvement plans.
• Oversee payroll processes, salary reviews, bonuses, benefits and statutory compliance.
• Drive HR process improvements, engagement and organizational development, support regional HR projects.

Job description

Adecco's client, a global commodities warehousing and logistics organisation, is seeking an experienced HR Manager to oversee the full spectrum of HR operations in Malaysia. This role will serve as a strategic HR business partner to management, driving HR initiatives while ensuring effective people management and compliance with local employment regulations.

Budget: RM 10K - RM 11.5K

Key Responsibilities:

• Oversee the full spectrum of HR functions, including talent acquisition, onboarding, employee relations, performance management, compensation & benefits, payroll and learning & development.
• Develop and implement HR strategies, policies and initiatives aligned with business objectives, while advising management on workforce planning and organisational matters.
• Manage employee relations matters, including grievances, disciplinary actions, misconduct investigations and performance improvement plans.
• Oversee monthly payroll, salary reviews, bonuses, employee benefits and statutory compliance, ensuring accuracy and timely submissions.
• Drive HR process improvements, employee engagement and organisational development initiatives, while supporting regional HR projects and reporting requirements.
• Act as the key liaison between Malaysia operations and regional HR teams, including supporting the effective utilisation of Oracle HCM.

Requirements:

• Degree in Human Resources, Business Administration or a related discipline.
• Minimum 10 years of relevant HR experience, with strong exposure to the full spectrum of HR functions.
• Good knowledge of Malaysian employment laws and statutory requirements.
• Experience with Oracle HCM or comparable HRIS platforms.
• Prior experience in an MNC or regional organisation will be advantageous.
• Strong stakeholder management and business partnering capabilities.
• Willingness to travel to Johor and other operational locations when required.
