Develop and implement HR strategies, policies and procedures aligned with the Company's objectives.
Lead and supervise the HR team while ensuring efficient HR operations.
Prepare HR reports, workforce analysis and recommendations for Management.
Monitor HR budgets, KPIs and continuous process improvements.
2. Recruitment & Workforce Planning
- Liaise with outsource agencies & manage manpower planning as well as the end-to-end recruitment process for the Company HQ and outlets.
- Coordinate overall employee onboarding and orientation programmes.
- Work closely with department heads to ensure adequate staffing across all outlets.
- Coordinate outsourced manpower and ensure compliance with statutory and immigration requirements.
- Oversee monthly payroll and statutory submissions (EPF, SOCSO, EIS, PCB).
- Administer employee salaries, allowances, commissions, incentives, overtime and benefits.
- Review remuneration packages and conduct salary benchmarking to maintain market competitiveness.
4. Employee Relations & Performance Management
- Manage employee relations, disciplinary matters, grievances and performance improvement plans (PIPs).
- Oversee probation, confirmation, transfers, promotions, resignations and terminations.
- Develop and implement the Company's performance management framework and succession planning.
- Advise Management on employment legislation and HR best practices.
- Identify training needs and coordinate internal and external training programmes.
- Manage HRD Corp matters, training records and development initiatives.
- Support leadership development and employee career progression.
6. HR Compliance & Administration
- Ensure compliance with Malaysian employment laws and Company policies.
- Maintain accurate employee records and HR documentation.
- Monitor changes in employment legislation and conduct periodic HR compliance reviews.
- Oversee HR systems, HRIS and workforce reporting.
7. Employee Engagement
- Promote a positive and high-performing workplace culture.
- Organise employee engagement, recognition and team-building activities.
- Support employee well-being and foster effective communication across the organisation.
Requirements
Education
- Bachelor's Degree in Human Resource Management, Business Administration or a related field.
- Professional HR certification (e.g. MIHRM, SHRM or CIPD) is an added advantage.
Experience
- Minimum 5 years of HR experience with at least 2 years in a managerial or supervisory role.
- Experience managing the full spectrum of HR functions.
- Experience in hospitality, wellness, retail, healthcare or other service industries is preferred.
Knowledge & Skills
- Good knowledge of Malaysian employment laws and HR best practices.
- Strong leadership, communication and interpersonal skills.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office (especially in Excel), HRIS and payroll systems.
- Strong organisational, analytical and problem-solving abilities with a high level of integrity and professionalism.
