Curie Oncology KL Sdn Bhd in Kuala Lumpur is seeking an Assistant Human Resources Manager to oversee day-to-day HR operations and ensure policy compliance. You will manage payroll, statutory submissions, recruitment, performance management, and employee relations, working with department heads to align HR initiatives with business goals.

Manage day-to-day HR operations and employee-related matters.
Maintain accurate employee records, HR documentation, and personnel files.
Develop, review, and implement HR policies, procedures, and guidelines.
Ensure HR processes are consistently applied across the organisation.
Manage employee onboarding, transfers, promotions, confirmations, and offboarding.
Manage monthly payroll processing and ensure timely and accurate salary payments.
Oversee statutory submissions and payments including EPF, SOCSO, EIS, PCB and HRD Corp.
Ensure compliance with the Employment Act and other applicable Malaysian employment legislation.
Maintain proper payroll and statutory records for audit purposes.
Work with management and department heads to identify manpower requirements.
Manage the end-to-end recruitment process, including job postings, candidate screening, interviews, offers, and onboarding.
Monitor manpower requirements and support workforce planning.
Develop and maintain job descriptions for various positions.
Coordinate the employee performance appraisal process.
Support managers in setting performance expectations and managing performance issues.
Advise management on probation, confirmation, performance improvement plans (PIP), disciplinary actions, and related HR matters.
Monitor completion of performance reviews and follow up on outstanding actions.
Provide HR advice and support to employees and managers on workplace matters.
Handle employee grievances, complaints, disciplinary matters, and workplace conflicts professionally and confidentially.
Conduct appropriate investigations and document employee relations cases.
Advise management on appropriate HR actions while ensuring consistency and fairness.
Administer salary reviews, bonuses, allowances, and employee benefits.
Conduct periodic reviews of compensation and benefits practices.
Ensure HR-related payments and benefits are administered accurately and within approved guidelines.
Identify training and development needs in collaboration with department heads.
Coordinate training programmes, registrations, payments, and training records.
Monitor training requirements and support employee development initiatives.
Develop and update HR policies, employee handbook, and internal HR guidelines.
Ensure HR practices comply with applicable laws and regulatory requirements.
Maintain proper documentation for internal and external audits.
Keep management informed of significant changes in employment legislation and HR requirements.
Partner with department heads and management to address people-related matters.
Provide practical HR advice on employee performance, engagement, manpower, and organisational matters.
Support management in implementing HR initiatives and organisational changes.
Promote a positive, professional, and respectful workplace culture.
Candidates must have prior experience in the healthcare industry.
Bachelor’s Degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, Management, or related field.
Minimum 5 years of relevant HR experience, preferably in a HR generalist or HRBP role.
Good knowledge of Malaysian employment laws, statutory requirements, and HR practices.
Experience in employee relations, disciplinary cases, grievances, and performance management.
Good understanding of compensation, benefits, and HR policies.
Strong communication, interpersonal, negotiation, and problem‑solving skills.
High level of integrity, confidentiality, and professionalism.
Able to work independently, manage multiple priorities, and meet deadlines.
