Job summary

Jora Malaysia is seeking a proactive HR Intern to join its Regional Human Resources team. The role offers hands-on exposure to talent acquisition, onboarding, employee data management, HR operations, and regional HR projects within a global technology and automation company.

You will work alongside experienced HR professionals, supporting a diverse workforce and gaining practical experience in a dynamic environment.

Qualifications

• Pursuing a Diploma or Bachelor’s degree in HR, business, psychology, management or related field.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills with ability to interact with employees and candidates.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office (Excel and PowerPoint).
• Strong organizational skills with attention to detail and multi-tasking ability.
• Analytical mindset with interest in HR metrics and data analysis.
• Professional, trustworthy, and able to handle confidential information with integrity.
• Proactive, eager to learn and able to work in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities

• Talent Acquisition Support: assist in sourcing candidates, screening resumes, scheduling interviews and coordinating communications.
• Onboarding Coordination: support onboarding activities for a smooth experience for new hires.
• HR Operations Administration: assist with employee records, filing, data entry and HR databases accuracy.
• Internship & Learning Programs: coordinate internship programs, engagement activities and development initiatives.
• HR Projects & Regional Initiatives: collaborate on HR projects and organizational initiatives.
• HR Systems Support: assist with HR system administration, including user accounts and data updates.
• Reporting & Analytics: support preparation of HR reports, dashboards and data analysis.
• Compliance & Documentation: ensure records and documentation align with policies and local regulations.
• General HR Support: provide administrative support and assist with ad hoc tasks as needed.
