Job summary

KMR Freight is seeking an HR Intern based in Teluk Panglima Garang, Selangor, to gain hands-on exposure to recruitment, onboarding, records management, and HR operations in a fast-paced logistics environment.

You will support interviews, onboarding, documentation, employee engagement, HR reports, and general inquiries while learning from experienced HR professionals in a collaborative team.

Qualifications

• Pursuing or recently completed degree in HR, Business Admin, or Psychology.
• Strong organisational and time management skills.
• Excellent written and verbal English and Malay.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office.
• Attention to detail and data accuracy.

Responsibilities

• Assist recruitment: screen resumes, schedule interviews, and coordinate with candidates and managers.
• Support onboarding and orientation activities for new employees.

• Prepare HR reports and required documentation.
• Provide administrative support: filing, scheduling, and correspondence.

KMR Freight is seeking an HR Intern to join the Human Resources team on a full-time basis. This role offers hands-on exposure to various HR functions within a fast-paced freight and logistics environment. Based in Teluk Panglima Garang, Selangor, this position is ideal for someone looking to launch their career in HR and develop a comprehensive understanding of recruitment, employee relations, and general HR operations.

Key responsibilities

• Support the recruitment process by screening resumes, scheduling interviews, and coordinating with candidates and hiring managers
• Assist with onboarding and orientation activities for new employees, including documentation and paperwork
• Maintain and update employee records and databases to ensure accurate HR information
• Support the planning and execution of employee engagement activities and company events
• Assist in the preparation of HR reports and documentation as requiredProvide administrative support to the HR team, including filing, scheduling, and correspondence
• Help with general HR inquiries from employees and provide basic support
• Collaborate with various departments to understand their HR needs and assist where possible

About you

• Currently pursuing or recently completed a degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, Psychology, or a related field
• Strong organisational and time management skills with the ability to manage multiple tasks effectively
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English and Malay
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications (Word, Excel, PowerPoint)
• Keen attention to detail and accuracy in documentation and data entry
• A proactive and eager attitude with a genuine interest in learning HR practices
• Ability to work collaboratively within a team environment and show initiative
• Discretion and confidentiality when handling sensitive employee information
• Preferred experience: Any prior internship or part-time experience in HR or a related field would be advantageous
