MyPath in Malaysia is seeking an HR Generalist for full-time/part-time roles (retiree welcome) to establish and manage the HR function for our growing US-based team. You will build HR policies, HRIS, and onboarding processes while supporting both DL and IDL staff.

This role thrives in a startup environment, requiring hands-on HR tasks, compliance with Malaysia employment laws, and scalable practices to support rapid growth.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in HR/BA or related field.
• 4–7 years of HR generalist experience.
• Strong knowledge of Malaysia employment laws.
• Experience setting up HR systems/start-up environments.
• Hands-on HR tasks across DL/IDL workstreams.

Responsibilities

• Design and implement HR policies and employee handbook in line with Malaysia laws.
• Set up HRIS and time attendance systems.
• End-to-end recruitment for blue- and white-collar roles.
• Onboarding processes for new hires.
• Employee relations, engagement, and performance discussions.
• Maintain employee records and payroll support.
• Plan for future HR scaling and SOPs.
