Job summary

Shiangly Builder Sdn Bhd in Penang, Bukit Mertajam, is seeking a Human Resources Executive to manage daily HR operations including recruitment, onboarding, offboarding, and records administration. The role covers compensation, benefits, performance management, and employee relations within a construction-industry environment.

The successful candidate will have a Diploma or Degree in HRM or related field, at least 3 years of HR generalist experience, and solid knowledge of Malaysian employment

Qualifications

• Diploma or Degree in Human Resource Management, Business Administration or related disciplines.
• Minimum 3 years of relevant working experience in HR generalist functions.
• Good working knowledge of Malaysian employment legislation, statutory requirements and HR procedures.
• Experience in handling employee relations, disciplinary matters and general HR administration.
• Able to work independently, prioritise tasks and manage multiple assignments.
• Good communication, interpersonal, organisational and problem-solving skills.
• Resourceful, proactive, responsible and able to handle confidential matters professionally.
• Experience in the construction industry will be an added advantage.

Responsibilities

• Handle daily HR operations, including recruitment, onboarding, offboarding, employee records, attendance and leave administration.
• Administer employee-related matters, including compensation and benefits, performance management and employee relations.
• Handle HR matters relating to employee grievances, disciplinary issues and other employment-related cases.
• Ensure compliance with relevant employment legislation, statutory requirements and company policies.
• Assist in reviewing, developing and implementing HR policies, procedures and improvement initiatives.
• Prepare and maintain HR documentation, correspondence, reports and other relevant records.
• Liaise with relevant government authorities and external parties on HR-related matters.
• Provide administrative and coordination support to the Head of Department on general assignments and special projects.
• Undertake any other duties and responsibilities as assigned by superior.
