Job summary

City Plantations Sdn Bhd is seeking a dedicated Human Resources cum General Affairs Executive to join our team in Ipoh, Perak. This full-time role combines HR management with general administrative duties to support our daily operations in the Plantations sector.

You will report to the HR Manager and play a key role in recruitment, onboarding, payroll, records, compliance, training, and office administration within a collaborative environment.

Qualifications

• Strong knowledge of employment law and HR best practices in Malaysia.
• Excellent written and verbal communication in English and Bahasa Malaysia.
• Experience with HR management systems and office software.

Responsibilities

• Overseeing recruitment and selection processes, including job postings, candidate screening, and interview coordination.
• Managing employee onboarding, induction programmes, and orientation activities for new staff.
• Maintaining accurate employee records, personnel files, and HR documentation in compliance with legal requirements.
• Administering payroll, benefits, leave management, and employee attendance systems.
• Handling employee inquiries, grievances, and disciplinary matters professionally and confidentially.
• Coordinating training and development programmes to support employee growth.
• Managing general office administration, including procurement, facility maintenance, and supply chain coordination.
• Organising office events and employee engagement initiatives.
• Ensuring compliance with employment laws, regulations, and company policies.
• Preparing HR reports and analytics to support management decision-making.
