Fatty Chemical Malaysia Sdn Bhd is seeking a Compliance and Internal Control professional to review employment agreements, monitor compliance with PDPA, ABAC, and ethical standards, and maintain records.

You will coordinate with internal stakeholders and external legal advisers, deliver training, communicate guidelines, and drive governance improvements across the organization.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Law, HRM, Business Administration, or related disciplines.
• Strong understanding of legal, compliance, and corporate governance principles.
• Excellent communication skills with strong command of English and Bahasa Malaysia, both written and spoken.
• Strong interpersonal and stakeholder management skills.
• Detail-oriented with good analytical and problem-solving capabilities.

Responsabilités

• Review and verify employment-related agreements, contracts, and legal documentation.
• Ensure contracts comply with company policies and applicable legal requirements.
• Maintain proper records and documentation of agreements and contractual obligations.
• Coordinate with internal stakeholders and external legal advisors when necessary.
• Promote and ensure compliance with corporate policies, regulations, and business conduct standards.
• Support and monitor compliance initiatives including PDPA, ABAC, Conflict of Interest Management, and Human Rights & Ethical Employment Practices.
• Assist in compliance assessments, monitoring activities, and corrective action implementation.
• Communicate corporate policies, procedures, and Business Conduct Guidelines to employees and stakeholders.
• Conduct policy briefings, compliance awareness programs, and training sessions.
• Support policy acknowledgment and compliance reporting processes.
• Develop communication materials to enhance understanding of compliance requirements.
• Support the enhancement of internal control systems and compliance processes.
• Participate in compliance reviews, audits, and risk assessments.
• Identify compliance gaps and recommend improvement measures.
• Drive initiatives to improve governance, operational effectiveness, and risk management practices.
• Maintain accurate compliance records and supporting documentation.
• Prepare periodic reports for management review.
• Support investigations and fact-finding exercises related to compliance matters when required.

Requirements

Education

Bachelor's Degree in:

Law

Human Resource Management

Business Administration

Or other related disciplines

Strong understanding of legal, compliance, and corporate governance principles.

Strong interpersonal and stakeholder management skills.

Detail-oriented with good analytical and problem-solving capabilities.

High level of integrity and ability to handle confidential information professionally.

Digital Literacy

Good knowledge of general IT applications and digital workplace tools.

Familiarity with AI-powered productivity tools and business applications will be an added advantage.

Ability to leverage technology to improve compliance monitoring, reporting, and process efficiency.
