Job summary

KLK OLEO in Malaysia is seeking an SAP professional to join the Global Manufacturing SAP CoE, based in Mutiara Damansara, Petaling Jaya. You will support SAP FI/CO and related modules, handling incidents, changes, and rollouts while driving process improvements.

You will collaborate with a global team to translate business requirements into SAP solutions, develop essential docs, and contribute to continuous improvement and AI-enabled automation initiatives.

Qualifications

Responsibilities

  • Provide global SAP support, including incident, service request, and change request management.
  • Analyse and troubleshoot SAP issues, coordinate with business users, technical teams, and external support providers, and escalate complex issues.
  • Review and implement approved SAP changes and enhancements per CoE standards.
  • Identify recurring issues and opportunities for improvement to enhance system stability and efficiency.
  • Participate as a module team member in global rollouts, integration projects, enhancements, and local projects.
  • Analyze business requirements and translate into practical SAP solutions aligned with global standards.
  • Support the full project lifecycle from solution design to post-go-live support.
  • Coordinate with internal and external teams to ensure scope, quality, and timelines.
  • Work with process owners to identify opportunities for process improvement and automation.
  • Support SAP integration with other systems, including requirements analysis, testing, and issue resolution.
  • Maintain functional specifications, process documentation, test scripts, user guides, and other SAP documentation.
  • Continuously develop SAP functional and project management skills and explore automation/AI opportunities.
  • Willingness to travel locally and overseas; own transport is preferred for travel within Klang Valley.

JOB SUMMARY

As part of the KLK Global Manufacturing SAP CoE team, you will play an active role in supporting and continuously improving our global SAP environment. You will be involved in SAP Finance (FI), Controlling (CO), and other related modules, covering solution design, requirement analysis, configuration, development, documentation, testing, implementation, and ongoing support.

You will work closely with experienced SAP CoE team members while building your functional expertise and gaining hands‑on exposure to a live global SAP environment. Your experience will span day‑to‑day SAP support, business process improvement, system integration, global rollouts, and real‑world SAP project implementations.

ROLE AND RESPONSIBILITIES
1.SAP Support & Change Management

Provide global SAP support, including incident, service request, and change request management in accordance with agreed service levels.

Analyse and troubleshoot SAP issues, coordinate with business users, technical teams, and external support providers, and escalate complex or critical issues when required.

Review and implement approved SAP changes and enhancements in accordance with standardized processes and SAP CoE standards.

Identify recurring issues and opportunities for improvement to enhance system stability and business efficiency.

2.SAP Projects, Rollouts & Solution Delivery

Participate as a module team member in global and regional SAP rollouts, integration projects, enhancements, and local projects.

Analyse business requirements and translate them into practical SAP solutions aligned with global standards and the KLK Manufacturing SAP template.

Support the full project lifecycle, including solution design, functional specifications, configuration, testing, deployment, and post‑go‑live support.

Coordinate with internal and external teams to ensure system integrity, scope, quality, and timelines.

3.Business Process & Continuous Improvement

Work with business users and process owners to identify opportunities for process improvement, standardization, and automation.

Recommend SAP‑enabled solutions to improve business efficiency, controls, data quality, and user experience.

Support the continuous improvement and harmonization of the global SAP template.

4.SAP Integration

Support integration between SAP and other SAP or third‑party systems, including requirements analysis, testing, and issue resolution.

Work with technical teams and vendors to ensure integrated solutions are practical, maintainable, and aligned with SAP architecture.

5.Documentation & Knowledge Management

Maintain functional specifications, process documentation, test scripts, user guides, and other relevant SAP documentation.

Maintain knowledge repositories and contribute to knowledge sharing and best practices within the SAP CoE.

Collaborate with business users, process owners, IT teams, vendors, and external consultants to deliver SAP solutions and resolve issues.

Monitor vendor deliverables, scope, quality, timelines, and service levels.

7.Professional Development

Continuously develop SAP functional and project management skills through hands‑on support, projects, training, and knowledge sharing.

Progressively take ownership of assigned SAP processes and develop subject matter expertise.

Explore and apply relevant technologies such as automation, analytics, workflow, and AI to enhance SAP solutions.

JOB SUCCESS REQUIREMENTS

Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Information Systems, Artificial Intelligence, Data Science, or a related discipline.

Basic understanding of SAP/ERP modules through coursework, internship, self‑study, or practical experience.

Strong analytical and problem‑solving skills, with the ability to understand business requirements and translate them into practical solutions.

Good communication and interpersonal skills, with fluency in the local language and preferably English, both written and spoken.

Willingness to learn, take ownership, collaborate with others, and work in a global team environment.

Familiarity with AI concepts, tools, or applications through formal coursework, self‑study, or practical use, such as generative AI or machine learning fundamentals.

Willingness to travel locally and overseas when required; own transport is preferred for travel within Klang Valley.

ADDITIONAL NOTES / DESIRABLE SKILLS

Experience in SAP implementation, rollout, or support is an added advantage. Candidates with exposure to one or two full implementation cycles will be an advantage.

Hands‑on experience with system configuration and the ability to analyse business requirements and produce quality functional deliverables, including Functional Specification Documents (FSD) and, where required, Technical Specification Documents (TSD).

Demonstrated willingness to use AI tools such as ChatGPT, Copilot, or Claude to improve day‑to‑day productivity, including document preparation, information summarization, analysis, and repetitive task automation.

Understanding of process and discrete manufacturing and related business processes is an added advantage.

SAP certification and/or experience in a consulting environment is an advantage.
