Job summary

Synaptic Technology Sdn. Bhd., an international tooling solutions company established in 2004, is seeking an organised and people‑focused HR Executive to support daily HR operations, employee development, workplace standards and company policies in Penang.

What you’ll do: Manage recruitment (sourcing, screening, interviews, onboarding), monitor attendance and performance, prepare job descriptions and employment agreements, coordinate foreign employee working-pass applications, and maintain

Qualifications

• Experience in human resources, personnel administration, or a related role.
• Practical knowledge of recruitment, employee records, HR documentation, attendance, and performance monitoring.
• Strong organisation skills with good attention to detail and confidentiality.
• Good communication and interpersonal skills, with the confidence to support employees and work with different teams.
• An proactive, responsible, and service-minded approach.

Responsibilities

• Manage recruitment, including sourcing, screening, interviews, staffing, replacements, onboarding, training, and development.
• Monitor performance and attendance, providing basic counselling where needed.
• Prepare job descriptions, competency matrices, employment agreements, job offers, and other HR documents.
• Coordinate foreign employee working-pass applications, renewals, cancellations, and related trips.
• Support banking arrangements and medical or insurance claims.
• Maintain personnel files, HR databases, employee handbooks, organisation charts, and other employee records.
• Provide timely assistance to employees on HR matters, company policies, and work-related issues.
• Implement HR policies and monitor compliance with the department’s Quality Policy.
• Help maintain a safe and well-organised workplace, including 5S housekeeping and good facilities and utilities.
