CHEC Construction (Malaysia) Sdn Bhd is seeking an HR professional to assist in recruitment, onboarding and HR administration. You will prepare contracts, maintain records and support payroll with statutory contributions.
The role requires familiarity with Malaysian employment laws and strong communication skills. The successful candidate will join a construction environment and may travel as required, supporting onboarding and pre-employment checks across projects.

Assist to manage the recruitment process, including job posting, candidate screening, interview arrangement and onboarding.
Prepare employment contracts, appointment letters and other HR-related documents.
Maintain and update employees’ personal records, attendance, leave and other HR information.
Assist in monthly payroll processing and statutory contributions, including EPF, SOCSO, EIS and HRD Corp.
Handle employee matters, including leave, attendance, resignation, confirmation and disciplinary issues.
Coordinate employee onboarding, orientation, medical check-ups and other pre-employment requirements.
Ensure HR policies and procedures comply with company requirements and applicable Malaysian employment laws.
Liaise with government agencies, recruitment platforms, training providers and other external parties when required.
Prepare HR reports, letters, notices and other administrative documents.
Perform any other HR and administrative duties assigned by the management.
Job Requirements:
Diploma or Bachelor’s Degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, Management or a related field.
At least 2 years of relevant experience in HR or related administrative roles.
Familiar with recruitment, employee relations, payroll and HR administration.
Knowledge of Malaysian employment laws and statutory requirements is an added advantage.
Good communication and interpersonal skills.
Proficient in Microsoft Office, especially Word and Excel.
Able to work independently and manage multiple tasks efficiently.
Good command of English and Bahasa Malaysia.
Willing to work in a construction/project environment and travel when required.
Fresh graduates with relevant qualifications may also be considered.
