Jora Malaysia is seeking an HR Assistant Manager (Japanese speaker) to support HR systems, policies and performance processes across country locations. You will coordinate end-to-end recruitment, conduct first-round interviews, and identify training needs for various teams.

Qualifications

  • Support performance evaluation activities, including communication and consolidation of results.
  • Handle employee consultations and provide initial support for concerns, complaints, and labor matters.
  • Monitor HR regulations and support government reporting requirements, including Thailand HR reporting.

HR ASSISTANT MANAGER (JAPANESE SPEAKER) (Ref: GA)

A Japanese-owned electronics trading and technology company based in Malaysia. Business involves the distribution and supply of electronic components, equipment, and related technology products to customers in the region.

Job Description:

Support HR systems, policies, procedures, and performance evaluation processes across country locations.

Coordinate end-to-end recruitment, including job postings, candidate screening, interviews, recruitment agencies, and hiring progress.

Conduct first-round interviews and assess candidates’ experience, skills, and suitability.

Identify training needs and coordinate training programs, vendors, schedules, and effectiveness reviews.

Support performance evaluation activities, including communication, scheduling, documentation, follow-up, and consolidation of results.

Handle employee consultations and provide initial support for employee concerns, complaints, disciplinary, harassment, and labor-related matters.

Monitor HR and labor regulations and support compliance and government reporting requirements, including Thailand-related HR reporting.

Identify HR operational or compliance issues and provide analysis and reports to management.

Support HR integration projects by comparing HR policies, systems, benefits, contracts, and processes between companies.

Prepare HR reports, guidelines, presentations, and other materials to support management decisions and HR initiatives.

Requirement:

Bachelor’s degree or above in Human Resource Management, Business Administration, or a related field.

Minimum 5 years of relevant HR experience, particularly in recruitment, performance management, HR operations, and labor-related matters.

Experience supporting overseas subsidiaries or multi-country HR operations is an advantage.

Strong practical skills in HR administration, documentation, data analysis, reporting, and schedule management.

Business-level proficiency in Japanese.

Ability to research and understand labor laws and HR regulations, including those applicable in Thailand.
