Ming Heng Motor Sdn Bhd in Kuala Lumpur is seeking an HR Assistant / Executive who will be hands-on, people-first and impact-driven, shaping the employee experience from Day 1.
You’ll manage employee relations, payroll basics, policies, onboarding, training needs, performance conversations, and ensure compliant HR processes while building a culture of respect, collaboration and bold ideas.
We’re not just in the automotive business — we’re in the people business. Every great car journey starts with trust, and every great workplace starts with the right people. That’s why we’re looking for a HR Assistant / Executive who can fuel our growth by taking care of what truly matters: our team.
This isn’t a “sit-behind-the-desk-and-check-boxes” HR role. You’ll be hands-on, people-first, and impact-driven — shaping how our employees experience from the moment they walk in, to every milestone in their career. Think of yourself as the co-pilot of our culture, making sure our people feel supported, empowered, and inspired.
Be the go-to person for employees — a problem solver, a listener, and sometimes even the office peacemaker.
Handle employee relations and conflicts with empathy, fairness, and a solutions-first mindset.
Spark engagement through creative programs that make work feel rewarding.
Keep our HR policies sharp, clear, and aligned with both the law and our values.
Maintain up-to-date employee documentation with precision.
Ensure payroll and benefits run like a well-tuned engine.
Contribute to benchmarking and fair compensation structures.
Run onboarding experiences that make every new hire feel like they belong from Day
Identify training needs and coordinate programs that actually make people better at what they do (not just check a box).
Guide managers through feedback, goal-setting, and performance reviews that really matter.
Support succession planning and talent retention — because great people deserve a future here.
Solid knowledge of Malaysian labour laws (and the wisdom to apply them fairly).
Proven experience in employee relations, compliance, and performance management.
HRIS proficiency — you know your way around systems and data.
Excellent communication, problem-solving, and conflict-resolution skills.
Because we’re not just another automotive company — we’re building a future of trust, growth, and success.
You’ll have the autonomy to shape HR the way you believe it should be done. You’ll be part of a culture that values respect, collaboration, and bold ideas.
If you’re ready to take the wheel of HR and make a real impact, this is your chance.
