Ami Awana in Malaysia seeks an HR Generalist to develop and oversee recruitment, screen CVs, coordinate interview teams and manage documentation. The role also covers labour relations, orientation, and exit processes within a multicultural environment.

Develop and oversee a recruitment process.
Review job advertisements before posting, screen CVs, conduct telephone screenings, coordinate interview teams, participate in interviewing candidates, and ensure that documentation is collected and recorded/filed.
Oversee all labour engagement and manage the new hire orientation and exit process.
Annually review the Personnel Handbook, recommending amendments needed due to changes in conditions or labour laws.
Manage timesheets for the office, ensuring timely submission, approval, accuracy, and filing.
Monitor compensation - ensuring internal equity & compliance, and benefits.
Facilitate job analysis and update job descriptions.
Evaluate the need for employee training and development and make recommendations.
Oversee the coordination and implementation of annual performance reviews.
Work with senior management to resolve employee relations issues pragmatically.
Investigate employee relations issues & work to ensure human resources-related decisions are consistent and fair
To ensure data accuracy and generate reports as required by management.
Prepare and submit HR reports, analytics, and metrics for management review.
Draft and issue internal HR communications, circulars, and notices as directed.
Undertake any other related duties as may be assigned from time to time by a superior.
Possess at least a Diploma and above in Human Resource Management, Business Studies/Administration/Management, Psychology or equivalent
At least three (3) years of working experience in the general human resource management field.

Good understanding of the Malaysian Labour Act and Employment Laws
Good organizational and interpersonal skills, with the ability to function in a multicultural environment
