Job summary

Rolls-Royce mtu Power Systems in Kulai/Senai, Johor, Malaysia, is seeking an HR Advisor to provide on-site HR guidance to line managers, ensure compliance with local labour laws, and coordinate onboarding and local HR processes.

The role requires at least 5 years in HR, strong knowledge of Malaysian employment regulations, and willingness to travel as needed. You will partner with regional teams to deliver effective HR services in a dynamic matrix environment.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in HR, Business, or a related field.
• At least 5 years of progressive HR generalist or advisory experience.
• Strong understanding of Malaysia employment legislation, industrial relations practices and HR practices.
• Demonstrated ability to manage HR operations, audits, and provide strategic day-to-day HR support.
• Hands-on experience supporting manufacturing, industrial, engineering or plant environment is an advantage.

Responsibilities

• Provide on-the-ground HR advice and support to line managers and employees.
• Act as the first point of contact for HR-related queries not addressed by GBS.
• Guide line managers to ensure adherence to HR policies, local employment regulations, and global processes.
• Ensure smooth onboarding experience for new hires at the site.
• Coordinate and support local HR processes and annual cycles.
