Job summary

Renaissance Hotels in Kuala Lumpur is seeking a committed Housekeeping & Laundry team member in a full-time, non-management capacity. The role focuses on inspecting guest rooms and public areas to uphold quality standards and coordinating daily housekeeping tasks.

You will support management in hiring, training, scheduling, and evaluating staff, while ensuring safety policies are followed and guest needs are addressed with professional service.

Qualifications

• Education: High school diploma or G.E.D. equivalent.
• Related Work Experience: At least 1 year of related work experience.
• Supervisory Experience: At least 1 year of supervisory experience.
• License or Certification: None

Responsibilities

• Inspect guest rooms, public areas, pool after cleaning to ensure quality.
• Run reports, verify room status, prioritize room cleaning, and update status of departing rooms.
• Coordinate efforts of Housekeeping, Engineering, Front Office, and Laundry.
• Prepare, distribute, and communicate changes in room assignments. Communicate issues to next shift. Complete required paperwork.
