Novotel Johor Bahru City Centre is seeking an experienced Assistant Security Manager to support the security team and safeguard guests, staff and assets. You will help oversee daily operations, respond to incidents, and ensure safety compliance in line with the Sofitel/Accor standards.

Responsibilities include supervising security staff, conducting patrols, monitoring CCTV, and coordinating with local authorities. Strong leadership and shift flexibility are essential.

Qualifications

• Diploma or degree in security management or related field.
• Proven experience in hotel security, law enforcement, or similar role.
• Strong knowledge of security procedures, risk assessment and emergency response.
• Familiarity with CCTV systems and security technology.
• Excellent leadership, communication and interpersonal skills.
• Willingness to work shifts, including nights, weekends and holidays.
