Job summary

Le Méridien Kota Kinabalu Sabah in Malaysia is seeking a Sales & Marketing professional to handle guest inquiries, process reservations, and support revenue growth through up-selling while upholding Marriott brand standards.

The role involves coordinating with various departments to resolve guest issues, maintaining professional communication, and contributing to the team’s sales objectives. This is a Full Time, on-site position located at Jalan Tun Fuad Stephens in Kota Kinabalu.

Qualifications

• Education: High school diploma or GED equivalent.
• Related work experience: At least 2 years of related work experience.
• Supervisory experience: No supervisory experience.
• License or certification: None

Responsibilities

• Resolve guest calls, requests, or problems by coordinating with Sales, Data Administration, and Accounting as needed.
• Use sales techniques that maximize revenue while maintaining guest loyalty, including up-selling.
• Process reservation requests, changes, and cancellations received by phone, fax, or mail.
• Enter Marriott Rewards information into the appropriate software when taking reservations.
• Assist with general office duties to support Sales & Marketing and training of employees.
