Job summary

V8 Hotel in Johor Bahru seeks a Sales Executive to drive growth by handling walk-in inquiries and managing leads from the hotel’s official email. The role focuses on meeting sales targets, converting leads into bookings, and maximizing hotel revenue.

You will greet guests, provide information on services, availability, and rates, follow up on potential clients, maintain CRM records, and report daily to the Hotel Manager.

Qualifications

• Arrive for work on time, well-groomed and presenting a professional appearance to guests.
• Prepare Proposal letter, Banquet Event Order, etc for the Sales department
• Coordinate and conduct BEO meetings every Monday at 4:30pm involving operation departments
• Improve online presence within Social Media channels and maintain social media and Websites as required
• Carry out competitor research and analysis locally and regionally
• Maintenance of all sales databases
• Coordinate and execute direct mail campaigns
• Maintenance of all sales literature and campaigns and assist in production of marketing materials

Responsibilities

• Greet and assist walk-in guests with inquiries, ensuring leads are converted into bookings
• Provide detailed information about hotel services, room availability, pricing, and promotions to walk-in clients
• Achieve monthly sales targets for walk-in business as set by management
• Manage and respond promptly to all inquiries from the hotel’s official email with accurate rates and availability
• Proactively follow up with potential clients to convert email inquiries into bookings
• Ensure all email correspondence is professional and logged in the system
• Carry and achieve budgeted revenue targets for walk-in clients and email inquiries
• Develop and implement sales strategies to exceed targets, including promotions and follow-ups
• Build and maintain relationships with new and existing clients for customer satisfaction and repeat business
• Prepare and submit daily, weekly, and monthly sales reports to Hotel Manager
