Job summary

Regent Malaysia seeks an Information & Technology professional to support hotel operations. You will meet staff and clients, set up workstations, and conduct routine checks to ensure procedures are followed.

You will train teams and report issues to management to keep systems running smoothly. You will build strong relationships with internal guests, act on needs to surpass expectations, and maintain up-to-date knowledge of hotel programs and events to assist guests confidently.

Qualifications

• Diploma or higher in Information & Technology.
• 1–2 years in hotel information & technology or equivalent experience.
• Must speak local languages and fluent English.

Responsibilities

• Meet with hotel staff/clients to ascertain needs and provide prompt, professional assistance.
• Set up and organize workstation with supplies, forms, and resources.
• Conduct periodic tests and inspections to ensure departments comply with procedures.
• Identify training needs and recommend actions to resolve them.
• Report errors to manager promptly.
• Build and maintain positive relationships with internal customers and guests to exceed needs.
• Address guest needs to exceed expectations and explain hotel services.
• Adhere to Regent brand standards and maintain knowledge of hotel programs and events.
• Assist guests and escort them within the hotel as requested.
• Maintain documents for audits and ensure procedures align with policies.
