Iconic Marjorie Hotel, a Tribute Portfolio in Bayan Lepas, Penang seeks an IT Manager to oversee IT infrastructure, systems, and operations, ensuring guest experiences run smoothly while safeguarding data and ensuring security across all digital hotel operations.

Lead a technical team, manage budgets and vendor relations, implement IT security policies, and drive cybersecurity and cloud initiatives to support business objectives in a luxury hospitality setting.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in IT/CS or related field or equivalent experience.
• Minimum 5-7 years IT management experience leading teams and complex environments.
• Strong knowledge of PMS, POS, and hospitality tech solutions.
• Expertise in network admin, security, cloud and infra management.
• Experience in cybersecurity, data protection, and compliance (GDPR/PDPA).
• Proficiency with IT service management tools and ticketing systems.

Responsibilities

• Oversee planning, implementation, and maintenance of IT infra, systems, and networks to ensure reliable performance and minimal downtime.
• Manage and support the hotel PMS, POS, and other guest-facing tech platforms.
• Lead the IT team with direction, training, and performance management.
• Develop and implement IT security protocols and data protection policies.
• Manage IT budgets, procurement, and vendor relationships to optimise costs.
• Conduct regular system audits and performance monitoring for improvements.
• Provide strategic tech recommendations to senior management.
