Job summary

Jora Malaysia is seeking enthusiastic interns to join our Front Office and Housekeeping departments in a hotel setting. You will assist with guest check-in/check-out and support reception, guest service operations, and housekeeping tasks under supervision.

Interns will receive a monthly RM600 allowance, gain hands-on industry experience, and benefit from training and mentorship from experienced staff, with potential for future full-time employment based on performance.

Qualifications

• Students currently pursuing or recently graduated in Hospitality, Hotel Management, Tourism, or a related field.
• Good communication and interpersonal skills.
• Positive attitude and willingness to learn.
• Well-groomed, responsible, and reliable.
• Able to work as part of a team.
• Previous hotel experience is an advantage but not required.
• Availability to work in a fast-paced environment.
• Strong teamwork and communication skills.
• Positive attitude, reliability, and eagerness to take initiative.
• Availability to work weekends and public holidays.
• Monthly internship allowance of RM600.

Responsibilities

• Assist with guest check-in and check-out procedures
• Support reception and guest service operations
• Handle guest inquiries and requests professionally
• Maintain a welcoming and professional environment for guests
• Assist with daily room and public-area cleaning operations
• Support room preparation and cleanliness standards
• Assist housekeeping team with daily tasks and duties
• Ensure guest rooms and common areas are maintained to hotel standards
• Learn and follow proper housekeeping procedures and safety guidelines
