Job summary

Jora Malaysia is seeking a friendly Front Desk Assistant to join our Front Office team in Bertam, Penang. You will welcome guests, handle check-in and check-out efficiently, answer inquiries and coordinate with other departments to ensure a smooth stay.

The role requires a Diploma in Hospitality or related field, good communication and customer service skills, and the ability to work shifts, weekends and public holidays. Fresh graduates are welcome to apply.

Qualifications

• Minimum Diploma in Hospitality or related field.
• Preferably 1 year Front Office/hotel experience.
• Fresh graduates are encouraged to apply.

• Able to work on shifts, weekends and public holidays.
• Able to work in Bertam, Penang.

Responsibilities

• Handle guest check-in and check-out efficiently.
• Attend to guest enquiries, requests and complaints professionally.
• Manage room reservations, telephone calls and front desk enquiries.
• Process payments and maintain accurate guest records.
• Coordinate with Housekeeping and other departments on guest requirements.
• Provide information on hotel facilities, services and local attractions.
• Ensure the front desk and lobby area are presentable at all times.
• Perform other Front Office duties as assigned by the supervisor.
