Job summary

BERJAYA PROPERTY BERHAD (Formerly known as Berjaya Land Berhad) seeks a Purchasing Executive to drive procurement activities for hotel-related supply needs. You will source vendors, negotiate on value, and prepare purchase orders while expediting orders to meet local and overseas delivery timelines.

You’ll liaise with multiple teams to ensure on-time deliveries and accurate information flow, while evaluating suppliers and coordinating transport.

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain Management, Construction Management, Logistics, Business Administration or related fields.
Must be literate in English, Malay, and Chinese for supplier communication.
At least 2 years' experience in hotel or hospitality procurement.
Ability to coordinate with multiple teams and manage several projects.

Responsibilities

Source and negotiate with vendor database to obtain best value for products/materials.
Prepare purchase orders, expedite orders and ensure timely deliveries.
Ensure all orders are delivered on time (local and overseas) and communicated to relevant departments.
Identify and evaluate suppliers and arrange transportation of purchased materials.
Assist operations with coordination and administrative tasks such as tender costs.
