Job summary

BERJAYA CKE GROUP is seeking a proactive Procurement Executive to support import purchasing and overseas sourcing. You will negotiate with suppliers, manage local and international orders, and coordinate shipments to ensure timely delivery.

The ideal candidate has hands-on experience in import purchasing, supplier evaluation, and ERP-based purchasing, and can collaborate across Production, Quality, Warehouse and Finance.

Qualifications

• Diploma/Advanced Diploma/Bachelor's in Business Admin or related field
• 3–5 years of purchasing/procurement experience
• Hands-on import purchasing experience with overseas suppliers
• Experience using ERP / procurement system; Epicor ERP preferred

Responsibilities

• Manage local and import purchasing activities.
• Source and evaluate local and overseas suppliers.
• Obtain and compare quotations based on price, specs, quality, lead time and terms.
• Negotiate price, terms, delivery schedules and other conditions.
• Coordinate shipping documentation and delivery arrangements for overseas orders.
• Liaise with overseas suppliers, freight forwarders and internal departments to ensure timely delivery.
• Prepare and issue Purchase Orders and monitor order confirmations and delivery schedules.
• Monitor supplier performance and drive cost-saving initiatives.
• Maintain procurement records and ensure ISO compliance.
• Support audits with procurement documentation.
• Collaborate with Production, Quality, Warehouse and Finance on supplier issues.
