Job summary

HOSPITAL UNIVERSITI TUNKU ABDUL RAHMAN is seeking a diligent Storekeeper to inspect incoming goods, verify against purchase orders and delivery notes, and maintain accurate records in the inventory system.

You will organize items by category, monitor stock levels, fulfill requisitions, and ensure timely delivery to wards. Strong Excel or hospital inventory software skills, FIFO/FEFO knowledge, and good communication are essential.

Qualifications

• Diploma or Bachelor’s Degree in Logistics, Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, or a related field.
• 1–2 years in storekeeping, warehousing, or inventory management.
• Proficiency in Excel or Hospital/Inventory Management Systems.
• Understanding of FIFO/FEFO and basic safety/waste management protocols.
• Integrity, stamina, and strong communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Inspect incoming goods against purchase orders and delivery notes for accuracy and quality.
• Maintain 100% accurate records in our inventory management system; monitor for low stock and overstock.
• Organize items by category and ensure the store remains clean, safe, and compliant with hospital safety standards.
• Fulfill departmental requisitions and ensure supplies reach the wards/offices on time.
• Liaise with Finance and Purchasing to report discrepancies or damaged goods.
• Participate in regular stock counts and help improve our storage processes.
