Job summary

Eng Kah Enterprise Sdn Bhd is seeking a dedicated Storekeeper to manage daily receiving, storing, issuing and organising goods and materials in the store. You will perform stock counts, reconcile records, and assist with stock takes in a fast-paced environment.

The role requires attention to detail, basic computer skills, and the ability to work independently or as part of a team, while maintaining clean and orderly storage areas in Bayan Lepas, Penang.

Qualifications

• Previous experience in Storekeeper, Warehouse Assistant or similar.
• Experience with stock counting, inventory control and stock reconciliation is an advantage.
• Able to handle stock records and basic documentation accurately.
• Basic computer skills and good organizational abilities.

Responsibilities

• Manage daily receiving, storing, issuing and arranging of goods and materials in the store.
• Perform regular stock counting and ensure physical stock matches inventory records.
• Record and update stock movements accurately in the inventory system.
• Check incoming goods against delivery orders, purchase orders and invoices.
• Label, store and arrange items for easy identification and retrieval.
• Monitor stock levels and report shortages, excess stock or discrepancies.
• Maintain proper documentation for stock receiving, issuing, transfers and returns.
• Follow storage and safety procedures and support other warehouse duties.
