Job summary

ETD Makmur (M) Sdn Bhd in Bandar Baru Bangi, Selangor invites a High Voltage Substation Project Engineer (Electrical) to lead the execution of complete project cycles from procurement to commissioning. You will work under the Project Manager/Director, coordinating with clients, consultants and site teams to ensure timely delivery.

The ideal candidate holds a degree in Electrical Engineering, 1–2 years of substations experience, and is able to travel with own transport.

Qualifications

• Degree in Electrical Engineering or a related field.
• 1–2 years of working experience with proven substation project commission track record.
• GCWP and Receiving Authorized Authority (RAA) credentials are highly desirable.
• Own transport and willingness to travel as required.

Responsibilities

• Oversee the execution of the full project cycle (procurement, engineering, construction, installation, testing and commissioning).
• Liaise with clients, consultants, local authorities and site teams to ensure alignment and timely decisions.
• Coordinate work with subcontractors to ensure smooth site operations and progress reporting.

High Voltage Substation Project Engineer (Electrical)

ETD Makmur (M) Sdn Bhd- Bandar Baru Bangi, Selangor

Reporting to Project Manager/Project Director, you will oversee the execution of full project cycle process including procurement, engineering, construction, installation, testing and commissioning.

Key responsibilities

Oversee the execution of full project cycle process (procurement, engineering, construction, installation, testing and commissioning)

Liaison with internal and external stakeholders (client, consultant, local authority, site team)

Coordinate work with related sub-contractors to ensure smooth site work execution

Prepare project progress reports and progress claims

About you

Degree in Electrical Engineering from accredited university (preferably in Electrical Power)

Minimum 1-2 years working experience with proven track record of successful substation project commissioned

Grid Contractor Qualified Person (GCWP) and Receiving Authorized Authority (RAA) holder is highly desirable

Possess own transport and willing to travel

Able to work in tight deadline with minimum supervision
